Cyanotype is an old photographic printing technique that relies on applying a chemical solution to paper to make it light-sensitive. Once prepared, the paper is exposed to sunlight and, after rinsing, takes on a characteristic blue color. Areas covered with objects, cut-out shapes, or plants do not absorb light and remain white.
This Rainbow Cyanotype Kit contains 7 sheets already coated in different colours, along with an instruction leaflet.
Since no chemical handling is required, this kit is suitable for both children and adults; it is recommended for ages 5 and up.
